Sabrina Davis was destined to be a business woman at a young age. Beginning at the age of 7, this Chicago native studied the entrepreneurial skills of her father and grandmother with a watchful eye. Her father did everything from having his own singing group to owning a modeling agency. Her grandmother owned her own gift shop. “When I was a little girl I always remembered my father and grandmother having their own business, Sabrina said. My father had a cosmetic line named after me called Sabrina Cosmetics and I know this is what set me in motion to pursue my own dreams of becoming an entrepreneur.” Watching two of the most influential people in her life taught Sabrina to be highly motivated, work smarter rather than harder, as well as pay attention to detail.
After working in corporate America for the past 10 years as a closing agent Sabrina decided to close the deal on her own passion: Fashion. Sabrina never settled for department store fashion because it has always lacked individuality. “When I stepped out on the scene, I always wanted to look different from everyone else and I knew the only way I would get that look is by shopping at boutiques,” Sabrina said. With her keen business sense and love for shopping Sabrina developed the launch of her own boutique, Divine Sole, in May 2008 in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood. “I named it Divine Sole Boutique because this is a blessing coming directly from God and He is ordering my steps throughout this whole process.” With this in mind, Divine Sole Boutique plans to uniquely makeover every woman from head to toe with bejeweled chokers, sassy stilettos, hot handbags, and overall high fashion and style with bi-level customer service. As a bonus Divine Sole Boutique offers complimentary massage therapy every Saturday and off site shoe parties. “My goal with Divine Sole Boutique is for every woman to step out, enjoy themselves, and feel fashionable, Sabrina said. It’s fashion with a divine touch.” |
